I pulled the dual cases as one unit as their failure was the whole reason for tearing into that part of the truck. Once out, I decided to pull the tranny just to inspect the clutch and make sure it was in good shape. Not that hard to mate up the t-case to tranny in the truck, but with one case, it would probably be no problem to pull both as one unit. Add the 2nd t-case and that alone gets to be pretty cumbersome.
