Other than the 3.1 not being a big power house. But they are strong and reliable. My 92 has 240,000 on her. I have had it since 94. I don't know that there are any differences between these two years. 93 was when they switched to the Isuzu motor.

Mechanically mine has been sound. It's paid for and keeps on running. Can't ask much more of it than that. If you wanted more HP you could always drop the 3.4 in. Lots of info on this board about that swap.
