depends on how you drive, if you let off of a locker it unlocks, if it is unlocked and you get on it, it locks and could be sending a hard shock load out to the birf.
I have a locker in the front and try to ease into it if I have been off the gas.
in area's where the drive train is loading and unloading as I go over rocks I will pull the E brake a bit to keep the drive line loaded up.
back brakes and drums are cheap and easy to replace, been 3 years of doing this and still have not had to replace the brakes.
