Getting the Wheeling Fever
No no no, what I ment was the locker up front was easier to steer than a welded or spooled front. A locked front is much harder than a open front.

I had to pull my front end apart today because my right front was not pulling even after I put in a set of heavy duty birfields. it turn out that the E Z lock was busted so I just welded it together. So much for locker in the front.

Anybody have any idea what kind of birfield would have these markings EMPI TO 1281 415. Thet where given to me from a friend who was selling his Runner. I know they are not stock.

Where that EZ locker bust? When you say welded did you just weld a crack or welded so its locked fulltime?

I just welded it all together so its just a spool now. I took it out to some rock piles and some hills near my house and I miss that locker already. It worked very well, all four tires pulled just like there supposed to. It sure is harder to turn.

I been told that a full Detorit only unlocks at 35 miles an hour. Is this ture? I know that the E Z lock types will unlock when not under load. I would like to put a full Detorit in the front but if it won't unlock at low speeds then theres no point.
