I printed someone's (was it yours?) directions from their website on how to change the 2.6l head and saw the pictures of what I have to clear to make the ARPs work. The torque specs listed on those directions were for regular bolts, I think. I'll look through the stud docs and see what it says. Thanks for the reply...

I think somebody took my directions and fixed them. That's a pretty good writeup to follow. Clean all gasket surfaces with acetone, too. Very clean bolt holes for the studs. Happy wrenching...

Ok, the head came in and it is a beauty. I nearly have all the parts I need to get started. In the box with the head there was a small bag with 8 short studs which I am assuming are for the exhaust manifold. Did anyone else's CW head come with all the studs? Just curious...

those are my instructions page written with FastEddy's help. For some reason I wanna say the ARPs go down to 85ft lbs but it should say in the instructions.

I know this seems like a dumb question, but does anyone have a picture of a head with hydro adjusters? I ordered my CW head with them, and on the exhaust side I see no adjusters. However on the intake side it looks like an adjuster is on the side of the rocker, but it seems to go nowhere.
Any pics?

Are there no adjustment screws on the valve stem part of the rocker? IF not, you have jet valve rockers without jet valves. Not a problem. I'd remove the unused adjustment screws and lock nuts if present to reduce valve train mass. That's the best of all worlds (duck, flak incoming), with hyd. adjusters and no jet valves.

Ok, now clearly for this dummy. I have hydro rockers designed for the jet valve head and just need to remove the adjuster and lock nut on the side of the rockers, right? I know it is a non-jet valve new casting.
