I found the winch that I'm going to get. Warn 9000 lb. Does anyone have a picture of how this is supposed to mount into the ARB Bull Bar?

Here's a link to an older feature with a Trooper equipped with an ARB front bumper: http://www.4x4wire.com/isuzu/news/SEMA2001/compass.htm

This picture doesn't QUITE show it, tho! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />

Which winch do you have? This pic shows one with an external, non-integrated solenoid pack:

The XD9000 is one of the more compact winches out there -- it should fit well into just about any bumper made to carry a winch... the separate solenoid pack makes it nice and small.

I'm still not that sure on how to mount the winch. I have the bumper like in the first picture. The fairlead is on the very bottom of the bumper and I don't see any kind of bracketry or mounting holes down there to mount a winch to. Is mounting a winch a custom job? I have the tools and ability, but I was under the impression that a winch was just a bolt on with an ARB Bull Bar.

Have you called ARB? This winch should just bolt in, no custom work required.

It may sneak in from the bottom and bolt in before the bumper goes on, don't know.

Body Damage is Cool
Also contact Wareagle or Tad on here, and try asking on the planet. They both have ARB's (i think, right?) and could probably tell you how it goes.
