If these are for a conventional u-bolt setup, then there are two different perch widths out there. The "narmal" ones are just a bit wider than the width of the springs (which are 2-3/8") and then there are the "wide" ones which have a rubber lined steel jacket wrapped around the leaf pack and the spring plate and u-bolts fit over that and that is about 3/4" wider.
