I have seen both the new style superlift and old style trailmaster lifts in person. The older style trailmaster was not one solid drop bracket (used stock crossmembers). The superlift (newer style) uses one solid drop brakcet (not stock crossmembers). If you're buying new, I think all lifts are now one piece drops? If buying used, a one peice is definently preferable - its stronger and less likely to bend.
