Speaking of oil pan, make sure that's the FIRST thing you yank; what's left in the bottom tells you a lot about the engine's history. If you find TC parts in there, count on finding a whanged piston; this IS an interference engine!!

You can also use a L/B out of a 2wd. Change over the oil pan, the dipstick, and its holder. IIRC, there's about an inch difference, and you're ready to move ahead. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
