Copy down the number and give the stealers a call, they'll know what year/month the block was cast--well close enough anyway, they are missing some numbers but should be able to tell you close enough to be able to figure out the year.

Yeah, it's amazing what some people will tell you....even shops that are SUPPOSED to specialize in Toyotas.....idiots.
