I'm 6'2", 205 and I'm at my limit in my '83. I swapped in some buckets from a 90ish Celica and I like the comfort much better than the stock seats that were in it(and the fact that the slide feature now works again). I really don't think you are going to be comfy in the standard cab, my shins are at an uncomfortable angle, which makes any driving over 30 minutes very tiring, my knees are just about hitting everything. Definitely try before you buy.

If you lived in san antonio I can let you sit in my 1980 toyota with bucket (from a GEO metro) seats.

i have an 83 that came with a bench im a short guy but my buddy is 6.2 and didnt have any leg room then i put buckets out of an 89 subaru dl and he now has plenty of leg room. they took alot of modifications to get them to fit but the end result was well worth it

I have a 82 and I'm 6'1" 218. Yea it's not the most comfortable truck to drive but I've been in worse. You want to talk about no room I have a 65 scout80 half cab, now that's small.

I'm 6 ft 1 215lbs I fit pretty well into my truck
I have 86 toyota MR2 seats in my truck.
They can slide pretty far back and are adjustable.
