I've owned the 4Runner upon which the 4x4wire review was based for the last 5 1/2 years, and have had no trouble with it. I only drive it 1-2K miles/year, if that matters.

Is it worth it? Hard to say. I do know the thing will keep running down to practically 0rpm, and it has a little more power over 4000rpm than the one in my truck had. If you're going to spend money for power, though, I'd save my pennies for a 3.4 swap.
