I was thinking the same... That getting rid of the mechanical dist would make for an easyer fit.

I am curious how well one of the older non HEI dist would fit, they were a lot smaller and you can get them convetered to pointless.

The nice thing with coil pack type ignition they are a lot more tolerant of water. ITs on my wish list for the 2.6 but then again I live in a semi arid region... for now smile
