I've got this loud squeaking from the front end that's driving me crazy. I've hit all the zirks, WD-40'd the moving parts that I couldn't hit with the grease gun and still no relief. Could it be the shocks?

I can't tell from here. Hold the keyboard up to the truck so I can see what's wrong with it.

1) Did you find the zerks on the upper control arm pivot shafts?
2) Check the anti-sway bar ends.

Frank

Yes I did find the upper ctrl fittings, I'll squirt the sway bar ends. Thanks, Frank.

Mine has a crazy squeak from the lower control arm bushings. Did a hack job of a replacemetn, which didn't help. Turns out the metal sleeve in the bearing has been rubbing/ eating away at the control arms. Yipee.

LOL, That's what I do. Unless I have someone in the truck and then all you hear is conversation and squeeks.

Body Damage is Cool
My bOuNcY seats cover up the squeaking noise. My wife's sounds like a Canadian goose honking and my seat sounds like a rusty screen door. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/butwiggle.gif" alt="" />

LOL, that was good. My seat also squeeks which adds to the front end ha ha ha. Hey Bob, remember the LSD you sold me? It's still going strong. Didn't know if you knew I was the guy you sold it to.
My wife hates riding in it so I don't have to worry about the honking part.
