Had the EXACT same problem on my 94 V6 (218,500 and going...) just last week. Had to replace the water pump, it was leaking at the weep hole. If you decide to tackle the job yourself be sure to purchase a new timing belt as well. The markings on your old belt will have rubbed off making it impossible to reinstall correctly.
