Hinge in the center for the windshield? that is strange.... need that bit of flex that the outer hinges permit. It ain't much, but it does help.... Didn't they make the Jeep in a 4-door option in the past?
I recall a couple variations, someone help me out with this if I have left some off, don't bother if I've made my point....
