I have been slowly working on this #@*$ of a project but its starting to come around. Last time i posted pictures it showed I had j-arm style upper arms. Well I really didn't like that design so i cut the frame off and made it how it should have been in the first place. The steering, not completed yet, will be a interesting design that at least one trophy truck uses. In the front the shocks are 2.5 coil over sway-aways. Once I save up enough for the uniballs ($100 each) I will be able to mount the spindles (cut up isuzu ones) and upper arms. THe motor is a 350 tbi, I ditched the entire wrining harness, so i will need a Painless Wiring harness to keep it TBI. The cage is a full 200 feet of 1.5 inch DOM tubing, I still need alot of cross bracing (SO DON'T TELL ME!). Its tied into the frame at 12 locations so hopefully it will stiffen up the frame nicely! I still need to start the rear suspension, it will be a 4 link with the shocks coming up through the floor boards. The rear bench seat was ditched in favor of one racing seat. Other things I need to do is make the dash fit better, make a cover for the engine, work the exhaust, win the lotto. When its all said and done it wont be street legal, but hopefully will be tearing up the tough truck competition (maybe a desert race some day!)

Its going to be mostly trial and error. I plan on renting a scale to see how much the front end is. The sway away website has a little calculator to help you figure out the coil rates.
