The Fox theatre in Atlanta has a summer film series. These usually have a mixture of older classic films and newer ones. One summer I watched "Gone With The Wind" and "Star Wars". Somehow I feel that if Washington DC, Boston or other northern cities would have been burned to the ground and the invading army carried out a scorched earth policy on the march to the sea, that there would be some lingering effect on the local population.
