I thought you guys might just make a joke about stereotypes and there'd be some light North vs. South ribbing. But I guess it isn't just a stereotypical view.

So if it makes you feel better:

-On behave of the Northern States;
We in the North should be ashamed of our behavior during the war, and we are not worthy to lick your boots. The South is so much better than the North that I'm surprised we're even given the right to drive through on our way to Florida.

regarding that movie, it was ok. Not all that accurate, but hey, its just hollywood.
