Oh yeah, watch out for those darn cats that dart out into the street and cause you to slow abruptly.

Not a problem, just dont touch the brakes BTW, did I ever say that I hate cats? A buddy of mine did over $1500 damage to his truck when a dog ran out in front of him and he hit his brakes on a slick road, ended up in a ditch. He said the next time the dog will be roadkill.

You strike someone you are at fault. No contest. Only way out is if other party is breaking the law. Driving drunk, running a red light etc.

Same in Colorado. They are gettin better at busting ppl for "swoop and squat" now though, so if they did it intentionally its their fault.

he had gotten a ticket for his stereo being too loud

There's one town here that doesnt even ticket for that anymore. They are required to show up in court and the sentance is 16 hrs "community service" which involves them sitting in a sound room for 8 hrs per day listening to music at high volume. The music though is classical, opera, country, and hard rock For some reason they rarely see someone in court for that offence more then once

Regardless of your likes or dislikes for a particular species, (I happen to have a low fondness for some children. It does not mean I am going to try and run them over.) I ask you to not run into animals on purpose. I have seen many many results of animal meets vehicle and it is never ever pretty and the pain and suffering of the animal is beyond explanation.

Now, don't get me wrong. If your choices are your safety or the animal, you win ever time. (Swerving into the path of an oncoming semi for Rocky the Raccon is just a bad idea.) But choosing to hit an animal when there were ways to avoid it makes you a very poor human being.

ARB??? Joe, are you nuts? If i could have an ARB I would be one of the happiest kids in town....but alas, i havent seen one since the one in the for sale section, and i think matt got that one.

Im thinking custom. Just 2x4x3/16" tube, mounts like Chef's rear bumper (straight through the tube with shackle mounting points.) bring a piece of DOM up from the bottom of the flat face of the tube, and have it stinger style, then have 2 support pieces coming from the sides. Here's an illustration:

I should be able to get it for under 300 bones if i do some of the cutting/fitting myself. Really depends on price of steel, i guess. I need to find a buddy real close by that could do some of the welding for me. Anybody up to it? Alcoholic beverage payment could be arranged....
