Generally a worn out clutch will start slipping when in higher gears under a load. You do not need a new clutch....maybe a little tweak and some lube on the pedal but your clutch is fine.

If the TO bearing was just replaced...my guess was they either put a new clutch in it or it was in very good shape and didn't need it. Anyone who goes thru the work to put a TO bearing in and ignores a bum clutch should be shot....twice.
