Roll Me Over

A good layman site for law and how it replies to search, rescue, and providing aid.
http://www.pitt.edu/~kconover/law.htm

The highest law of the land is the U.S. Constitution. If something is prohibited in the Constitution, it's "unconstitutional" which is about as illegal (or "unlawful" as those in the know prefer to say") as it can get. If a law, ANY law, conflicts with the Constitution, the Constitution wins. An amusing corollary of that comes from the fact that the Postal Service is written into the constitution. It's unconstitutional to impede a postal carrier.

Q. Who has to yield right of way at an intersection, a fire truck with lights and siren, an ambulance with lights and siren, a police vehicle with lights and siren, the Presidential motorcade, or a post office truck?

A. Everyone has to yield right-of-way to the postal truck.

He also has some good Search and Rescue information, along with suggested things to bring for different kinds of trips

Body Damage is Cool
I just want to clear the air here with the real reason it is so expensive for the insurance. It has nothing to do with wheeling, off-road adventures, rollovers or the like.

Rather, it is my firm belief that the rate is a result of the inherent risk of injury related to the event organizer trying to install four tires and wheels on his RENTED grand cherokee (at night, in the dark)

The real question is whether or not Uzi will be there.

I think UZI is like Bigfoot, some have claimed to see it, but there is little evidance that they actually exist

I believe there is an UZI even though I have never seen it in person since ZUZOO V, I believe that it is being rebuilt (the longest rebuild in history perhaps ), I believe that UZI will be at the next ZUZOO, I believe because I have seen pictures, wait a minute, pictures can be doctored, pictures can be copied and pasted....I don't know what to believe!!!

Ahem.

Just kidding. But remember to *always* keep it friendly with *every* user. It's when we take the baby steps away, after a dozen or so we forget how far we traveled.

Randii, I leave for Tucson in a few weeks. I'm coming half-way. I'm making no promises (I have an 8-week military school this year, date "at their convienance") but *might* make it out to Moab.

Just for that, I will reserve the 51st slot in line for MZZIX, Jeff.

Sure would be great to finally meet you in person, Wayne. How long have we been trading email?!?!
