Come the weekend I hope to own a '96 trooper 3.2L. I have never driven the vehicle and know nothing @ Trooper xcept I always liked the look. I pull a 2500 lb. utility trailer (stump grinder) about 70 miles every workday. Will it do the job? Have been using a Bronco 302 which does great, but it's a rust bucket and must be sold. '92 was the first year for the 2nd gen Trooper.
Yes, it will pull the trailer just fine, but I strongly
suggest electric brakes on the trailer and a controller on
the truck.
