Dealer prices are getting pretty high. I just took in my T-100 and my Camry for some work. Charged $349 for the T-belt replacement on the truck and $289 for the car. The coolant flush seemed a little steep at $129. The car also needed one CV joint boot replacement at the cost of $49 for the part and $200 for labor. The dealer also wanted about $250 for a front brake job on the car, new pads and turned rotor. I refused that one and did it myself complete with new rotors for $100.

They also wanted $300 to replace the idler arm when they did the recall. I said "no thank you" and ordered the bushings and seals for $18.00. The dealer initially told me there were no serviceable parts on the idler arm--but when I pulled out the part numbers I got off the this site they backpedaled a little bit. Asked where I got those numbers and promptly ordered me the parts.

Thanks for the help.
