Great pictures....but....do they have a car wash in the park now?

How come I've never seen a speck on that rig?

Agreed , amazing photos!

Have to love that pounce!

Les's trick to keeping his Montero spotless is he has it dropped to different locations by helicopter, turns out its cheaper than driving it.

The Gold-Tan color of my truck hides dirt very well. In Yosemite if you even think about off roading a horde of Federal Rangers will be on you before you can say 4WD.I would guess in the winter the Rangers outnumber the guest.
Best not to mess with a National Park that has it's own District Court

that doesn't matter much though, there are awesome trails just outside the park, like the beautiful Star Lakes trail just south of there near Fish Camp, the big trail system by Red Top mtn off Beashore Road east of the park, and the super beautiful and remote Green/Cattle Mtn trail systems north-east of there.

Eric, your leaving out the Dusy/ Ershim trail system. Your own private Yosemiti Valley, and no other people And none of that nasty pavement Yosemiti is nice, but too crowded and after driving through its time to get down to wheeling the Dusy

The Wells guide for Northern California is the best bet. But searching online will bring up some articles. Originaly I heard a rumor about it, and found stories online, then found the Side Kick map and guide. While limited, the Side Kick guide is cheap and will get you through.

Duh, just ask on 4x4wire!!

lloyd - yeah Dusy's rad, but the trails I was mentioning are immediately adjacent to Yosemite, not a couple hours highway drive away smile
