Along the comments of Lee, what do you have to do with respect to torque converter stall speed for this swap? Can you keep the stock AW372 and TC? Theoretically a diesel will have totally different torque delivery characteristics than our 3.0.
My '93 SR runs great for 132k, but a diesel conversion would be great down the road, since I'm always looking for some new, sadistic car project to torture myself with.
