I've been told KYB rep in my country that KYB shocks (Gas-A-Just series) are *very* stiff, and are meant for street performance, not off-roading. Probably the MonoMax series are better suited for off-roading.

I just installed ProComp ES9000s on my truck and I'm very satisfied with their perfomance, on and off-road. These are meant for up to 1" lift tough.
