ARB... not sure if it needs the gears set on it or not ARB's are full carrier replacement lockers. So yes, the ring gear must be moved to the ARB unit and backlash must be reset.

$1800??? Even in Canadian dollars, that seems a bit much. You can pick up a locker on ebay for $690 and compressor for $200 (equals $1022.57CAD total). Still costs too much for me... The check book is still recovering from my last "mod".

COngrats on you purchase. I love my lockright.
Definitely put some of Matt's tie rods on. Even w/ DOR's tie rod shields, my trooper's front tires get very "pigeon toed" when lockright kicks in on terra firma.

Congrats barak! I never bid until the last minute, but I wasn't willing to spend more than $350 on it. Plus, by looking at the bid history, you proved you wanted it worse than I do! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I thought of all the work it would take to put the locker in, then I thought of how close I would be to a SAS.
