I just got an 04 4x4 trd extra cab. I used to drive a full size truck. I've noticed that the tacoma tends to wander on the road. I have to pay attention and really drive it. Is this normal?


Yes check front end componets and align...you could also be noticing the extremely tight steering...the slightest movement initiates a turn whic is a bit different than most full size trucks.


Is there any adjustment to loosen up the steering a bit?
The tight steering is really annoying and quite unlike my previous Toys. Time to start looking for a rust free low mileage pre '95. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />
