I don't know how far you want to get into it but..The light has 12V to it from the ECU-B 15A fuse so any ground will kick that light on. It goes to a connector then to the airbag sensor assy behind that plastic piece over the center hump on the dash. From there it looks like there is a LH and RH airbag sensor that could go to ground or it could be in that sensor assy. There are 3 other inputs to that sensor. +12V through the 15A cig lighter fuse, +12V from the 7.5A ign fuse, and a wire to the data link connector under the hood. You might check those fuses. Depending on your milage it may be under warranty. If they cover the seatbelts to 100K, they should cover that. If you want me to look further into the drawings, let me know.
