I did 3" lift on my 91 trooper and it torned cv boots. I know some of you done the suspension lift and wondering how much you guys lifted and what is recommended height? You might need to trim down the rubber on the lower bump stops too. I removed my lower bump stops completely for off roading. Do you have lock-out hubs or full time hubs? Full time will wear the CV and Boots faster. Do you have rear leaf spring or coils? 87 Raizer, 4.3V6, Mod TH700R4,231CHD, detroit rear and LSD front, bouncy seats, 2" lift and 32x15 BFG MT tires. [Re: TrooperMonty] #690508 01/27/06 07:13 PM Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 1,741 springfield,oregon powerRam50 Body Damage is Cool i just put the longer shackles on at the beginning of the month and so far i realy like them.also the lower bump stop is not the problem it is the upper's.there are 2 per side for the upper bump stops.and the aisin hubs are thought to be the best.the auto hubs suck,and the aisin's are stronger than the superwinch.but i have never had a problem with the superwinch. 87 dodge power ram 50,35" tires,5 1/2" total lift,4.6 gears,lockers front and rear,Rancho RS5000's,custom front bumper,custom rock sliders,cct extended diff breathers,75 amp alt(40 amp stock),thorely header,K&N,wheeled hard...
