5VZ is right on.....just mark the adjusters.....remove case....take bolts out for case halves....install locker...torq case halves together....install case into 3rd and push the ring gear right up against the pinion.....install the ring side adjuster and screw it by hand all the way tight and you will see your mark is just a little past where it needs to be so back the adjuster off until it lines up where it needs to be.

Screw the other adjuster on and you may need a tool to make that mark line up. there ya go.

Now....now is the perfect time to crank some carrier bearing pre-load into those worn bearings....this will have the effect of increasing the ring and pinion strength due to less ring deflection. So simply tight each adjuster 2 or 3 holes and done. Adjust each one the exact amount....well, exact is not really that critical....but close to exact and there ya go <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />
