I have an 85 Toyota LB 4x4 with a 22R motor and I'm in the process of building up this truck. I have made minor upgrade that I canÆt seem to get to work. I have swapped out my basic instrument package (speedometer only) with a cluster which has a RPM gauge in it.
I cannot get the RPM gauge to work. I think the RPM type cluster that I have put in came out of a 22RE 1986 truck. All the wiring hooked up easily to the back of the instrument cluster, my question is, did I miss something or do I have to run an extra wire to get the rpm gauge to work or do I need a cluster out of an 85 truck?
