Yeah, you're going to need to hook up a thermo sensor, or wire it to always be on.....or on a dash mounted switch. Not sure how it works I've never installed one. Can't be that hard though.....power wire, thermo sensor on the rad/block....two maybe 3 wires, depending on how complicated you want to make it with switches, etc.
