shaker shipped my tie rod and drag link friday. the driveshaft is here. i cut off the cat today and then cut/rotated the flange so that the cat now sits horizontal and clears the bracket you made. i just need to weld up the rest of the exhaust. i realize that i need to cut off the rear torsion bar mount on the passenger side for the exhaust to slip through there cleanly. how many exhausts get TIG. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

the ford shock towers are not braced from behind, but we put two passes of 5/32" ER70S2 tig on both sides and the bottom. it is welded to the original IFS mount. the weld is twice as thick as the tower. that thing will never come off.

my front tcase output has a single u-joint flange, so i need to take that off. i have a triple drilled one to replace it.

as soon as the paint dries, i will bolt it all up.

i need about a 5 degree shim from rogerb to get things where i want them, but he has been on vacation.

it is all about to wrap up. i am here next week to work on it, but on vacation 3/4-3/11. it'll be all done (including the little stuff) by 3/31.
