Doesn't it depend more on the size of the jets? I have a friend that been using a 1.21 for a couple of years and it works good enough to call it a vast improvment over what it replaced. Good enough that he hasn't felt the need to change it. You're only talking about .06" larger diameter venturis over the 1.08.
