Okay, I have ordered and am going to try to install both of these as soon as they get here:

ARMRESTS:
I purchased these from Zeta Products, and talked to Angelo,
who is pretty cool, he offered to give us (4x4wire) a group rate if the armrests worked out okay.

Armrests



These armrest are made for '92 and later troopers but I am going to try to install them on my '90. Is looks pretty simple - uses u-bolts to clamp around the round (pipe)seat frame (so it can be adjusted up and down). The only drawback would be having to punch a hole in the vinyl seat covering (no problem here).




CONSOLE ADAPTER:

I also purchased this center console adapter with cupholders!!!! This company, Husco, is aparently going out of business and he made me a deal on these:
