Ditto the intake being a PITA to get off. I pulled the head on mine and left the intake intact. I swapped it out on the bench.

There are bolts on the under side of the intake that I really can't see getting to very easily. Maybe from underneath the truck reaching up through where the carbon cylinder is.

Why does the intake need to come off? If it's for a head change just pull the head with it on there.
