If you really want OEM or better brightness from a set of LEDs, it's gonna cost you. I tried the Ebay ones for awhile but wasn't impressed due to the lack of side lighting from the bulbs and the fact you should install a load resistor to compensate for the lack of voltage drop of the LED fixture. There is one company that makes a commercial quality bulb with side LEDs but they are spendy. Check em out... LEDtronics <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

One thing to note on the resistors...they get extremely HOT during operation so consider that during placement.
