My 1997 Isuzu Rodeo looks purty cool with those 31x10.5 r15 tires on it! Only problem is is that they're slinging mud all over my Zu!( I live on a dirt road. ) Im looking for some good looking but rugged fender flares. prefit for the year of the vehical?
Who makes the good ones?

Body Damage is Cool
Obviously Isuzu makes factory flares. The only reason I mention them is that I heard they are relatively cheap for a dealer item, like $100 buck for the set. Not sure how much extra coverage they would offer you though.

For a bit more tire coverage, check out Jcwhitney fender flares, and the article on Michael Wood's website

Roll Me Over
Bushwacker makes a set, and they're nice, but very costly.

I had to dig through a few old posts, but this might helpà

Are you looking for something like THIS?

Pacer Fender Flares @ J.C.Whitney.com[/b]

Quote
The Pros & Cons of Pacers:

Pro:
TheyÆre not really that expensive.
TheyÆre pretty easy to install.
TheyÆre quite durable.
They look reasonably good.
They do their job very well.

Con:
They hang lower than the fender arch, thus partially hiding the wheel opening.
They tend to get in the way of your wheel travel, and have to be æopened-upÆ a bit.
The mounting screws rapidly increase the onset of body cancer.
The screws themselves rust, and it bleeds out from under the flares and onto the body.

Advice:

If you choose to get some of theseà Before you mount them, set aside all of the self-tapping screws, and replace them with some that are galvanized or zinc-coated.

Also, be sure to use some form of RTV on all of the contact surfaces, AND THEN remember to put a dab of the stuff on the heads & points of all of the screws.

--- If you can prevent water from ever making its way to the screws or the holes they create, you MIGHT have a little better luck than IÆve had with the otherwise inevitable rust issue.

And another option (although I've never seen a set of them myself

Thanks for the great replys! Nice wheels Smiley. The JC Whitneys look good on your rodeo.Im petrified of the rust monster <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/evil.gif" alt="" />though. I also checked out Lebra web site....Its kind of hard to see whats going on with the pics they provide. But they also look good as far as I can tell.

when you bolt em on, slather some POR-15 on the screws and surrounding areas!

Why wouldn't you want mud all over your truck? I'm very confused. You WANT it to look like it doesn't hit the trails?
