Put a measured 1000# of dirt in mine once and it was basically bottomed. I bought a set of the Firestone air bags for mine but to install them you're supposed to cut off the rubber bottom stopper on the rear axle. That part irks me so I haven't installed it yet, not sure if I'm going to or not. But from what I hear they do really help the load capacity.
