Locker and 538 gears-Updated with Prices and details/Pictures #694952 02/09/06 08:37 PM

Guys,

Sorry for the long delay. My son totaled the Kia and I changed jobs.

This really does kill me. I spent a lot of blood sweat and tears on this project. My son rolled it four times. Roof was caved in and it was upside down when I got there. I took a saws all cut the roof off changed one tire and drove it home. Was thinking of putting a cage in it and using it strictly as a rock buggy but I am not going to be able to do that because he totaled a second car two months later and I am out of money and cars. Nobody will buy it in it's current condition so I am probably going to part it out.

I have the rear third member with the locker and 538 gears installed. The rear axle is out of a 98 that had about 46k street miles on it.I have the 538's for the front.
As far as costs the R&P's and locker installed plus shipping cost me about 1,100. It only has about 2k miles on it at the most.

Anyway, for the third member with locker and R&P installed and the front R&P. $800. You would pay someone a couple hundred bucks to install the locker and R&P's. For the whole axle it is going to be $950. I paid $250 for the axle and it would include both inner axles and new brakes and the pain of having to take it out and screw with it.

I have two brand new superlift shocks. Never been used. Bought them after the wreck. The other one were bent up.
I have the four inch longer jeep springs that go in the rear. I also have the Eibachs and spacers in front. Gives you four inches of lift. $275

Body Lift

I have a custom tube bumber/bull bar with winch mount in front. $300

Custom tube bumper in rear w/antenae and hitch mount. $200

Custom diamond plated skid plate $50

Also let me know if you need an engine or parts: new water pump, electric fan, new radiator, alternator, belts and hoses. Starts first time still. Good Transmission, driveshaft, and transfer case, new U joints. Warn hubs. It is the 2.0 dohc auto transmission. I have had it since it was brand new and the oil has been changed regularly. The speedometer shows about 146k miles but this engine has about 85k on it. Wife blew up the first one. I have driven it since the new engine was put in it. $350.

I also have four black rock crawlers 5x5.50 for the Kia. $60

4 35x 14.50 Monster mudders, 20% thread, good spares $80
4 33x12.50 bfg all terrains 40% thread $100

Would consdier selling everything if you want to come get it. $1,500

Email me at kwaterhouse@uslec.com for prices or make offers.

Begrudgingly,

Keith

I'll take the front locker off your hands! I'd rather have the whole show, but I see that a line has already formed in front of me. (damn!)

Thought about that Blitz. Still may if I can find one cheap enough with a blown engine.

Appreciate the well wishes for my son. Did not have a scratch on him.

I am a firm believer in these trucks. After owning one for 11 years and another one for 9 years and seen the abuse they will take I speak from experience.
