Yes indeed. Mine is also an 84. 1971-1980 and 1988-90 258 engines have 1/2 inch Head Bolts. 1981 through 1987 engines have 7/16" Head Bolts. that was from another thread in jeep talk and jp wrote it i knew i didnt loose my mind lol.
so as long as you have the 71-80 or 88-90 258 you will be fine with no other mods but as i stated the 81-87 you will have to drill and tap.

ok that problem is solved dang peete has all the answeres on this one lol, that is if the ford sb ones will work.

I got the part number from another Jeep site. They are supposed to work. Cliffords Performance has a set of 4 for $20. I'd rather pay $30 for 20! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
