Any info you guys could share will be appreciated.

This may not be something you want to do.But this company out of england sells 2" lift shackle for the pajero and the L200.Which is the montero and mighty max for the US cars.Use the search feature on the site and it will bring up alot of aftermarket stuff they produce.

there are 2" lift shackles for the front of 85 and older toyota's.they are almost the perfect size and they give a 2"lift for aur rigs.any 4x4 parts store can get these i got mine from summitracing.com.you do need to buy the right size and grade bolts.i used grade 8 zink plated bolts washers and nuts.

if i remember right the top bolts were 6" long and the bottoms were 5 1/2".i dont remember the diameter becouse i just took in one of the new bushings so that they could find the largest dia meter bolt that would fit inside the bushing.

Bolt diameter is 5/8". Get 2 nuts each for locking as these are not sholder bolts.
The Summit Racing PN is something like 0084.
Suggest you get the OEM rubber busings replaced too.
Replace the bottom thick spring leaf with an JCW add-a-leaf pack.
This will not increase heigth but will give you more articulation.

I used the bolts that came with the shackles on my 89 and they worked just fine...
