Off topic but thought I would help out with this issue..

Dont use alkaline batteries for digital cameras, they cant take the power requirements. Go to radio shack and get some NiMh batteries (2000 mAH ones or higher work best). They are rechargable and can take the load of digital cameras much better. With mine alkalines would last maybe 10-15 pics. I get close to 100 pics with NiMh batteries.
