I am wiring up an 2 speed electric fan from a Ford Taurus on my ZJ tommorrow and I have all the wiring set up with the relays and what not, but I can't figure out how to wire up the ON-OFF-ON switch I bought. I've done regular ON-OFF switches before with 3 terminals in the back of the switch but this ON-OFF-ON switch has 6 terminals <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />. I want to have one for high speed, one off and one for low speed. I think it should go like this...

Is this correct? I did a search but didn't turn up with anything usefull. I don't really want to be missing with this switch's wiring all day. Thanks in advance.

Here's a pic of the actual switch...

What you have there is a 2pole double throw switch (DPDT), all you needed was single pole double throw (STDP). Just use one side of the sw. Also, with dc volts it is always better to switch the - not the +. Switch plus is like pushing a loaded wheel barrel up an incline. This creates a greater in-rush current which fused don't like. On each relay coil connection attach the + wire and take the - from the switch to the other side of the coil. I'll be checking this thread through out the day.
