What engine are ya working on? With 22R-Es my personal experience with Felpro head gaskets is....they suck! They tend to tear during the normal expansion cycle of the bi-metal engines. I keep one on the wall in factory packaging as a reminder of what not to use.

What I use is the Rock Gasket product from Engnbldr.com, haven't had a premature failure since I started using them...and I build alot of 22R-Es.

Are these gaskets ok? They look like they have the bead on them, so that's good, right?

Well I'd think you get what you pay for. EB's stuff is top end at a real good price.

i don't recomend the fel pro either, i'm on my second one within the year just about...little less, with moderate driving, keep getting a leak up by the TC, and the tc only oil has no water in it, but i've got oil running down the from of my once spotless rebuilt block <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/angry.gif" alt="" />

heard i should have gone with a factor head gasket from the dealership.....and next time i will

Just curious, but have you ran a compression test or a leak down test on it?
