I've had to replace a couple of CV joint boots on this 4Runner and a couple on a 90 model Corolla I once owned. Both vehicles were bought used. Everytime I change oil now, I spray all the rubber parts (boots and seals) with pure silicone spray. Even old boots can benefit from this.

That's good food for thought Mike. I'll keep that inmind when I get news ones. But for now I don't think ANY amount of spray is going to help this truck. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> Just about every boot and dust cover on it is dry rotted to hell. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />
