Well...like I said in my post I was too lazy so I just bought some aftermarket headlights. I got them off of carparts.com via ebay motors.

Here's a couple of good links I found after 'googling' buff headlights-
Link to using sandpaper and a buffing wheel
Here's another that uses plastic cleaner, glazing, and sealer

The second link is kind of a product plug but it supplies all the pictures and steps in the restoration process.

I'm sure there's a lot more links out there that give even better directions and tips. If you take this route, I'd probably try to read them all <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/zombie.gif" alt="" /> or at least a few more!
