I think 10w30 is what I run in my 2.7; depending on the weather in your area, you may need to run a thinner oil in the winter, but if your area doesn;t get too cold, 10w30 is fine.

As for mixing different oils, I've always been told that the biggest no-no is mixing detergent and non-detergent oils. If the oils you want to mix share the same properties -- and the same additives -- then mixing shouldn't be a big deal.

Oh, and no mixing mineral (dino) oils with synthetics -- that is a definite no-no.
